Push ( poker )

1) In certain forms of stud played in private games, such as keep it or shove it, pass an offered card to the left.

2) Bet too often or too much; play too aggressively. "The time to get Fat Freddy is when he's pushing."

3) Split a pot.

4) A split pot. If two (lowball) players have wheels, that constitutes a push.

5) A form of stud, such as keep it or shove it, played in private games in which players can pass offered cards to the left.

6) The next house dealer to come to a table, or the present dealer's relief. "Where's your push, dealer? I never win when you're behind the box."
Push ("Stand Off") ( blackjack) - Same as tie. Player's hand equals dealer's, assuming neither has 21. In a normal blackjack game, the player's bet is returned to him when a push occurs. In double exposure games and in many charity games, the player loses on a push with the dealer.
